Halloween 2008

Here are a few pictures of Addison in her poodle costume...she didn't like the costume too much, as you can see from one of the pictures. :) I also added a picture of her from last year in her costume...she has grown SO much!!!

Addison's friend...

Just had to share a quick, sweet Addison moment. Mrs. Gretchen, who keeps Addison on the days I am working, has a little boy (Logan) who is her age. This morning I held Addison's hand and walked her to the door...Logan ran out to meet us with his arms open wide and gave Addison a big hug! It had been a about a week since we had last been there, so I guess they were glad to see each other! I mean, melt my heart...it was the sweetest thing. So, I would say that Logan is Addison's first official friend! :)

She's a walker...almost!!

Sunday afternoon the three of us headed out to Murray Park for Matthew's PM&R Department picnic. Another beautiful day! We took advantage of the big open field to let Addison practice walking. She's getting closer and taking more and more steps on her own!

War Eagle!

Saturday we got up early and drove to Hindsville, Arkansas with Gigi and Poppy for the War Eagle Craft Fair. The weather was perfect and we all had a great time. Addison seemed to really enjoy taking in all the sights and sounds! Here are a few pictures :)

Matthew and I went to the Arkansas vs. Alabama game Saturday with Sydney and Josh. We had a fun time even though our team lost. Addison cheered for the Hogs from GiGi and Poppy's house while we went to the game. As you can see from the picture, she chose to cheer barefoot.

Today we went to the zoo with our friends Susan and Sam. We all really enjoyed being out on such a nice day, and I think Addison and Sam actually noticed quite a few of the big animals! Here are a few pictures from our trip...

Sorry it has been so long!

Here are a few pictures showing what Addison has been doing since her 1st birthday. She keeps busy crawling, pulling up on EVERYTHING, playing with toys, opening and closing cabinets, listening to music, dancing, playing with her mom and dad, trying all kinds of new foods, and reading. She is very well rounded :)
